Deep Tissue Massage

A massage treatment that when incorporated within a Remedial Massage Treatment, uses specific massage techniques such as using knuckles, forearms and elbows to help apply firm sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the deeper layer of muscles, tendons and fascia in the body, rather than just the superficial layer of muscle to help with musculoskeletal issues.

 

It is designed to alleviate chronic muscle tension, reduce pain, increase mobility, and break up scar tissue.

 

Common target areas can include the neck, lower back, and shoulders.
